Q7: The one thing that stands out the most is Gordon's laugh.

Q8: He gave Becky (Bawtinhimer) Woodby and myself a chance to establish a once in a lifetime friendship and to send us places to use our gift of singing to touch others.

Q9: I had a severe breakdown in 2005 when I tried to take my life. Since then the Lord has totally transformed my life and has given me opportunities to reach others that I never would have expected. I just continue to grow each day praising God! There isn't enough room here to tell you of the blessings he continues to give me, especially one special friendship with my LBC best friend from 1972. Q7: He displayed a tender heart toward each of us as well as a , heart for God. I respected him and loved him......

Q8: I was with the LBC Chorale the year that Gordon stepped in at the end of the first semester. He took a different path with his leadership. I feel we began to experience what ministry was and I began with Gordon's leadership to realize the importance of being right with Jesus as well as each team member before singing. My personal relationship with Christ was strengthened greatly. After 35 years of being in the ministry I still carry in my heart graditude for Gordon's willingness to take on the position of leading us. He made many sacrifices that year. He was away from his family many weeks and they in turn were missing husband and father. Thank you, Gordon, for making the sacrifices, for us and most of all for Eternity.

Q10: My husband and I are serving here in Lakeland, Florida. We have served with Pastor Jay Dennis for 10 years. We are blessed to be here. We have celebrated 12 years of doing mission work in Brazil, South America. God has given us a heart for the people of Brazil. We will be going in April to teach and equip those Pastors and their wives that live on the River as well as those in the Villages.

Q8: I transferred in as a Jr. from East Tex. Baptist College and needed to catch up on subjects in youth ministry curriculum to graduate on time. Gordon did everything he could to help me and I graduated out on time. Plus, without a doubt, Gordon's love for youth inspired me to give 13 yrs. of my ministry to youth before entering the Sr. pastorate. Even being a pastor I love our young people like they are my own.

Q9: The birth of my 3 children who have been nothing short of joy and blessing throughout life and who are now all serving the Lord faithfully. The unfailing love and patience of my wonderful wife of 33 yrs.
